Degenarative Disorders
Degenerative disorders are conditions that cause the progressive deterioration of cells, tissues, and organs in the body. These disorders are typically caused by age-related changes, genetics, or environmental factors. Degenerative disorders are usually characterized by the loss of physical and mental functions, leading to a decline in quality of life. Common degenerative disorders include Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and heart disease. Treatment and preventative measures of degenerative disorders may include exercise, lifestyle modifications, medications, and surgery. Early diagnosis and treatment are important for slowing or halting the progression of these debilitating diseases.
