Cultured Tumor Cells
Cultured tumor cells are cells that have been isolated from a tumor sample and grown in a laboratory. These cells are an invaluable research tool, as they are able to maintain their characteristics and properties from the tumor sample, allowing scientists to study the factors that influence tumor growth, progression and spread. Cultured tumor cells can also be used to create models of cancer in the lab and to test the effectiveness of potential drugs, making them a useful tool in developing treatments and enhancing our understanding of cancer.
