Bioreactors and Engineering of Tissues

Bioreactors and Engineering of Tissues is an innovative technology used to recreate and grow living tissues in the laboratory. By using bioreactors and other advanced tools, scientists can culture and engineer biological cells and tissues in a controllable and sterile environment that mimics the in vivo environment. This technology has the potential to revolutionize the medical field, providing new avenues of research into tissue engineering, regenerative medicine and drug discovery. It can also be used to produce organ-like structures, as well as bio-printing of 3D human tissues and organs. Moreover, tissue engineering provides an alternative to animal testing and could decrease cost associated with drug development.
