Adrenal Tumors
Adrenal tumors are growths that form in the adrenal glands, located at the top of each kidney. They are usually benign and slow growing, but rarely can be cancerous. Adrenal tumors can cause symptoms such as changes in blood pressure, fatigue, and weight gain or loss. Treatment for adrenal tumors varies, depending on the size, type and other factors, but may include surgery, radiation therapy, or hormone replacement therapy. In rare cases, the tumor may be metastatic and require more aggressive treatment. Early detection and prompt treatment for adrenal tumors is important for improving outcomes and quality of life.
