Tsh Test
The TSH (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) test is an important screening tool used in diagnosing thyroid-related medical conditions. It measures the amount of TSH produced by the pituitary gland in response to the presence of thyroid hormones. An abnormal TSH level can indicate an overactive or underactive thyroid, which can lead to a variety of symptoms and medical issues, such as fatigue, weight gain, anxiety, depression, and heart palpitations. The TSH test helps diagnose these issues, as well as guide treatment decisions. It is a highly accurate and important part of assessing thyroid health.
