Synthetic Thyroid Hormone

Synthetic thyroid hormone is a medication used to replace or supplement thyroid hormones naturally produced by the body. It is typically prescribed to treat hypothyroidism, a condition in which the body does not produce enough thyroid hormones. Synthetic thyroid hormone is used to restore normal levels of thyroid hormones and help regulate metabolism, energy levels, and cognitive function. As such, it can help improve overall health and well-being. Additionally, it is used to prevent goiter and other complications of hypothyroidism. Synthetic thyroid hormone can also help improve fertility and reduce symptoms associated with menopause, making it an important treatment option for various conditions.
