Rai Therapy
Rai Therapy (also known as radiolabeled antibody therapy or radioimmunotherapy) is a type of cancer treatment which uses radioactive particles attached to antibodies to combat cancer cells. It is a targeted form of treatment which involves injecting the radio-labeled antibodies directly into the tumor or circulating blood. This therapy is considered effective for treating cancers that are difficult to target with other methods, as it can destroy cancer cells without damaging nearby healthy cells. Rai Therapy is specially useful for treating leukemia, lymphomas, multiple myeloma and certain types of breast and ovarian cancer.
