Wound Healing
Wound healing is the natural process of the body in which the skin repairs itself after injury. It is an essential process that helps protect the body against infection and further damage. Wound healing involves the coordinated action of numerous body systems, including the circulatory, immune, and neurological systems. Specialized cells and proteins interact to close the wound, repair damaged tissue, and regenerate healthy new tissue. Different therapies, such as dressings, bandages, and medications, can facilitate wound healing and minimize scarring. Wound healing is thus crucial for restoring health and is widely used in medical practice.
