Lysis Medicine
Lysis medicine is a form of therapy which utilises the body's own immune system to target and destroy cancer cells. It works by introducing molecules or agents, known as lysins, into the body's system which attach to and damage the cancer cells. This stops them from multiplying, and can even eliminate them completely. The process is widely used in the treatment of cancers like leukaemia and lymphoma, and is also increasingly being used to treat other types of cancer. It is one of the most effective cancer treatments available today and has been used to save countless lives.
