Biosensors

Biosensors are analytical devices used to detect biological or chemical reactions. They are composed of a biological or chemical recognition element, such as a receptor or enzyme, which reacts with molecules in the environment, and a transducer, which converts the signal into an electrical signal for further analysis. Biosensors are used in a wide range of applications, from medical diagnostics and treatment, to industrial process control and food safety. They provide rapid, accurate, cost-effective and automated results, making them valuable tools for healthcare professionals and industry.
