Sports Supplementation

Sports supplementation is the use of nutritional supplements to improve performance in athletes. These supplements can help an athlete to increase muscle strength and endurance, reduce fatigue and recovery time, and improve overall health and fitness. A variety of supplements such as vitamins, minerals, amino acids, herbs and enzymes are available for athletes looking to improve their performance. The evidence for the effectiveness of these supplements and their safety is limited, so athletes should talk to their doctor or nutritionist before starting any program of supplement use. Sports supplementation can be an effective way to improve performance in athletes, but it is important to use the right supplements in the right way.
