Exercise and Hypertension Management
Exercise is an important tool for managing hypertension, or high blood pressure. Regular physical activity can lower blood pressure, reduce stress levels, and improve overall cardiovascular health. Studies have shown that engaging in moderate to intense exercise for 30 minutes per day, five days a week can help reduce hypertension. Examples of exercise include walking, jogging, dancing, swimming, and sports. Exercise can also help reduce bad cholesterol levels, maintain a healthy weight, and reduce the risk of other heart-related diseases. By incorporating physical activity into a healthy lifestyle, hypertension sufferers can effectively manage their condition and reduce their risk of developing health complications.
