Aclsprains
ACL sprains are injuries sustained by the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the knee. This ligament is responsible for stabilizing the knee joint, and injuries can be caused by sudden stops, changes in direction, or direct contact. ACL sprains can range from mild to severe, causing pain, swelling, and difficulty with walking. If left untreated, ACL sprains can lead to long-term deficits in knee stability. Treatment of ACL sprains may involve resting the knee, bracing, physical therapy, and, in some cases, surgical reconstruction. Proper rehabilitation is essential to ensure proper healing and return to activity. With proper care and rehabilitation, ACL sprains can be managed and the risk of future knee problems minimized.
