Hepatitis e

Hepatitis E, is a viral disease caused by the Hepatitis E virus (HEV), which is found mainly in developing countries. It is the most common cause of acute liver failure worldwide. This virus can cause a mild to severe form of hepatitis, ranging from a mild flu-like illness to a more serious form of liver disease. Symptoms are similar to those of other forms of hepatitis, but may be more severe and last longer. Complications can include jaundice, cirrhosis, and even death. It is usually spread through contaminated food or water, and there is no vaccine or antiviral treatment currently available. It is important to be aware of the risk factors associated with the condition and to take appropriate preventive measures against it.
