Gallstones Symptoms
Gallstones are solid deposits of cholesterol or other substances that form in the gallbladder and cause pain, nausea and other symptoms. Many people experience gallstones without any symptoms, but if they do cause symptoms they can include abdominal pain, nausea, bloating, indigestion and vomiting. If a gallstone blocks the bile duct, symptoms may become more severe and include jaundice, fever and chills. Treatment of gallstones usually involves a medical procedure to remove the stones, but diet and lifestyle changes can also be effective in preventing the formation of new gallstones. Gallstones are a common problem that can cause significant health issues, and it is important for individuals to be aware of the symptoms and treatment options available.
