Pruritus
Pruritus is a condition characterized by an intense itching sensation on the skin. It can be caused by a variety of factors, such as allergies, skin infections, and certain medical conditions. Pruritus is a common symptom and can have a significant impact on a person's quality of life. Treatment options include lifestyle modifications, topical creams, antihistamines, and other medications. In some cases, more invasive procedures may be necessary. Early recognition and intervention can help to reduce the severity and duration of pruritus.
