Kyphosis
Kyphosis, also known as hunchback, is a medical condition characterized by an abnormally curved upper back. This curvature causes an exaggerated roundness of the upper back and may cause the head to be pulled forward, leading to a decrease in height. Kyphosis can be corrected through a variety of treatments, such as physical therapy, bracing, and in some cases, surgical intervention. It can have significant consequences on an individual's posture, health, and emotional well-being. Treatment can help reduce the pain and improve the appearance of the spine. Early diagnosis and treatment of kyphosis is important, as ignoring the condition can cause further spinal damage.
