Ewing Sarcoma

Ewing Sarcoma is an aggressive form of cancer that is most commonly found in young patients. It is a malignant tumor in bone or soft tissue and is characterized by a translocation of the EWS gene. Treatment typically consists of chemotherapy and radiation and surgery may be used to remove the tumor. The prognosis for Ewing Sarcoma is usually poor; however, early detection and prompt treatment can improve the chance of a successful outcome. Ewing Sarcoma is a rare and serious cancer that requires prompt treatment and close monitoring for the best chance of a positive outcome.
