Evoked Potentials

Evoked potentials are technological measures of electrical activity generated in response to a specific stimulus or stimuli. They are used to assess the function of the central and peripheral nervous systems, often to identify and diagnose neurological issues. Evoked potentials are also used to monitor and localize brain activity during neurosurgery and cognitive processes. As they provide a means to evaluate neurological functioning, evoked potentials are an important tool in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders.
