Electroencephalogram

An Electroencephalogram (EEG) is an electrical recording of the brain’s electrical activity and is used to identify any problems in the brain's electrical system. It records the electrical signals produced by the neurons in the brain and can be used to diagnose various disorders, such as epilepsy and brain tumors. EEG is a crucial diagnostic tool in neurology, as it enables detection of conditions that are otherwise invisible on imaging tests. It is also used to measure the effectiveness of medications and to monitor the progress of anesthesia.
