Skin Cancer Detection
Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer worldwide and is caused by mutations within skin cells that lead to uncontrolled and abnormal growth. Detection of skin cancer is of vital importance for successful treatment, and this can be achieved through various methods, such as visual examination and dermoscopy, which aid the identification of suspicious lesions. In addition, newer technologies such as molecular imaging and artificial intelligence algorithms are being used to detect skin cancer with greater accuracy. Early detection of skin cancer is essential for successful treatment, and these detection methods have the potential to reduce rates of mortality caused by skin cancer.
