Dermoscopy
Dermoscopy is a diagnostic tool used to evaluate skin lesions. It is a non-invasive procedure, where a dermatologist uses a special device to magnify and illuminate the skin. Dermoscopy can be used to identify a variety of conditions, including melanoma, naevus, seborrheic keratosis, inflammation, and vascular lesions. It is a safe, painless, and inexpensive procedure that can sometimes provide a diagnosis without the need for biopsy. As a result, it is a valuable diagnostic tool enabling early detection and successful treatment of skin diseases.
