Tumor Excision
Tumor excision is a surgical procedure in which a tumor, or part of a tumor, is removed from the body. This procedure is a critical aspect of cancer treatment, as it can both improve the patient's quality of life by reducing the size of the tumor, as well as improve the chances of successful treatment. Tumor excision requires precise surgical skill in order to avoid damaging the surrounding tissue or organs and is thus used as a valuable tool in combating cancer.
