Soft Tissue Sarcomas
Soft Tissue Sarcomas are a type of cancer that occurs in the soft tissues of the body, such as fat, muscles, nerves, and blood vessels. They are usually found in the arms and legs, but can also occur in other parts of the body. Treatment for these types of cancer depends on what type of sarcoma it is and where it is located. It could include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, or a combination of treatments. Soft Tissue Sarcomas are relatively rare cancers that account for 1% of all cancers and are more often found in adults than children. Early diagnosis and treatment is key to improving outcomes and increasing the chances of a successful treatment.
