Flap Surgery
Flap Surgery is a surgical procedure used to reconstruct skin, bone and soft tissue and to restore normal function and movement. It is often used to treat burns, trauma or birth defects, or to improve the appearance of a body part. Flap Surgery involves the use of healthy tissue, known as a flap, taken from another area of the body and then grafted onto a defect or area of injury. This process helps to create a natural-looking tissue that is able to provide good blood supply, allowing successful healing and recovery. Flap Surgery is a major advancement in the treatment of severe injuries, allowing for the restoration of normal function and appearance.
