Elbow Block

The elbow block is a method used in the medical field to provide anaesthetic relief for the elbow and upper arm region. By injecting small amounts of anaesthetic into the area, the nerves responsible for sensation in the region are blocked and the patient is provided with temporary or long-term relief from discomfort and pain. This procedure is widely used in orthopaedic, trauma, plastic and reconstructive surgeries as well as post-operative pain relief and analgesia. The elbow block has many advantages over other methods of anaesthetic relief, such as shorter procedure times and better control over the anaesthetic level. It is a safe, simple, and highly effective technique that helps to improve the quality of life for many patients suffering from pain or discomfort in the elbow and upper arm region.
