Cardiomyopathies
Cardiomyopathies are a group of diseases that affect the heart muscle. These diseases can be caused by genetic mutations or environmental factors, and result in the heart muscle being unable to pump blood effectively. Cardiomyopathies can lead to serious complications, including heart failure, stroke, and sudden cardiac arrest. Treatment for cardiomyopathies may range from lifestyle modifications to medical therapy, depending on the type and severity of the disease. Early diagnosis and management are important to reduce the risk of complications and improve the quality of life of those affected.
