Microbial Dysbiosis
Microbial dysbiosis is the imbalance in the microbial community of the human body. It occurs when the abundance and diversity of beneficial microorganisms are reduced, allowing harmful bacteria to gain a foothold. This can cause inflammation, impaired digestive functioning, and other health problems. Microbial dysbiosis has been associated with a wide range of diseases, including autoimmune diseases, obesity, diabetes, and digestive disturbances. It also plays an important role in the aging process. Treatment involves dietary and lifestyle changes to improve the balance of beneficial bacteria in the gut, as well as the use of probiotics, prebiotics, and supplements. By restoring microbial balance, dysbiosis can be reversed and overall health improved.
