Balloon Sinuplasty

Balloon Sinuplasty is a minimally-invasive procedure used to relieve the symptoms of chronic sinusitis. It involves the insertion of a small, flexible catheter with an inflatable balloon on the end into the blocked sinus area. The balloon is then inflated, which gently restructures and widens the sinus passageway, improving drainage, reducing pain and restoring normal breathing. Balloon Sinuplasty is considered to be an effective, safe and long-lasting treatment for chronic sinusitis and improves quality of life for sufferers. It is less invasive than traditional surgery, less painful and has a shorter recovery time.
