Suicide Tendency

Suicide tendency refers to an individual’s inclination to take their own life, usually resulting from depression, mental illness, or extreme psychological distress. It is one of the most significant causes of death in many countries around the world, especially for those in the 15-24 age group. Prevention of suicide is critical and requires early recognition, intervention, and support. Professional mental health services, such as psychotherapy and medication, can help to reduce the risk of suicide by providing support and treating underlying mental health conditions. It is also important to reach out to those at risk and make them feel supported. Additionally, creating awareness campaigns around mental health, suicide, and its preventative measures can help to reduce the rate of suicides in any given population.
