Big Data
Big data refers to a large amount of data that is so vast and complex that it cannot be processed using traditional data processing techniques. It is usually characterised by four key features: volume, variety, velocity and veracity. Big data is important for businesses, organisations and governments as it allows for the analysis of large datasets to provide meaningful insights that can be used to increase efficiency and make better decisions. It can also be used to identify potential risks and opportunities, identify trends and analyse customer behaviour. Additionally, it can be used for predictive analytics and machine learning, helping to make better predictions about the future.
