Respiratory Tumors
Respiratory tumors are abnormal growths of cells that occur in the tissue of the lungs and airways. They can be benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous). Respiratory tumors are serious conditions that may cause breathing difficulties, coughing, chest pain, and other uncomfortable symptoms. In some cases, they can be life-threatening. Treatment of respiratory tumors depends on the type and stage, and may involve surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and/or other therapies. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment are essential for the best outcomes. With advances in medical technology, there is hope for successful management of respiratory tumors.
