Pneumonitis

Pneumonitis is a general term used to describe an inflammation of the lungs. It is caused by a variety of factors, such as exposure to certain irritants, infections, medication side effects, and autoimmune conditions. Symptoms, which can range from mild to severe, include shortness of breath, chest pain, coughing, and fever. Pneumonitis can be treated depending on the cause, and in some cases, medications or lifestyle changes may be necessary for prevention and control of the condition. Proper diagnosis and early treatment can help to reduce the risk of further complications and long-term damage to the lungs.
