Pneumonic Plagues

Pneumonic Plague is an infectious bacterial disease caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis. It is the most serious form of plague, an often fatal infectious disease that affects humans and other animals. Pneumonic Plague can spread easily from person to person through the air and, without prompt diagnosis and treatment, it can be deadly. It is essential to identify and treat cases quickly to prevent the spread of the disease, as it can cause severe respiratory symptoms and even death within 24 hours of infection. There are a variety of treatments available, including antibiotics, which can be very effective in fighting the infection.
