Lungs

The lungs are organs located in the chest cavity responsible for exchanging oxygen and carbon dioxide between the air we breathe in and the bloodstream. They are essential for providing oxygen for our bodies to utilize for energy and for eliminating carbon dioxide. Lungs play a vital role in the body's respiratory system and are used in many medical procedures, including lung transplants and ventilation. Good lung health is important for overall health and is generally a sign of good cardiovascular fitness.
