Kingella Kingae

Kingella Kingae is a type of bacteria responsible for a variety of infections in humans and animals. It is a gram-negative, non-motile, and rod-shaped bacterium that is commonly found in the respiratory and genitourinary tracts of healthy individuals. The bacterium can cause serious infections, including bacteremia, endocarditis, and meningitis, as well as wound and soft-tissue infections. Kingella Kingae is an important pathogen to consider in the diagnosis of community- and hospital-acquired infections in both adults and children. It is also a potential target for the development of new antibiotics and vaccines.
