Adenocarcinomas

Adenocarcinomas are malignant cancers that originate in glandular cells, such as those found in the colon, stomach, breast, ovary, and pancreas. They are the most common type of cancer and account for over half of all cancer-related deaths in the United States. Adenocarcinomas can cause many symptoms and if left untreated can spread to other parts of the body. Treatment may include surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and medication for pain relief. Early diagnosis and treatment are important for improving the chances of successful treatment and survival.
