Soft Tissue Sarcomas
Soft Tissue Sarcomas (STS) are a group of rare and complex malignant tumors that occur in the connective tissue of the body, such as muscle, fat, and blood vessels. STS are among the most aggressive and deadly cancers, and they can occur in any part of the body, from the head and neck to the arms and legs. Treatment options for STS vary depending on the type and size of the tumor. Surgery is the main treatment used for most STS, and chemotherapy and radiation therapy may also be used. Early detection is key for successful treatment, as STS can spread rapidly if not identified and treated in a timely manner.
