Reflex Sympathetic Dystroph

Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD) is a chronic condition characterized by nerve pain, swelling, warmth, and tenderness in a limb. It is believed to be caused by a malfunction of the central nervous system. RSD can affect any part of the body and can vary in severity. Symptoms may include intense pain, burning sensations, weakness, swelling, and even movement impairments. Treatment options typically include drugs, physical therapy, and nerve blocks. Currently, RSD is not fully understood and there is no cure. It is important to discuss any symptoms that may suggest RSD with a doctor in order to receive a correct diagnosis and treatment plan.
