Radiochemistry

Radiochemistry is a field of chemistry that focuses on the study of radioactivity, the transformative power of radioactive materials on other materials, and the application of these materials to the study of a wide range of topics ranging from biology and physics to geology and astrophysics. Recent advancements in radiochemistry have enabled scientists to study the atomic and molecular structure of matter, allowing for a deeper understanding of the physical and chemical properties of elements, including their potential applications in the medical, industrial, and geographic fields. Radiochemistry tells us much about the structure and behavior of matter, from the tiniest particles to the largest materials, and its applications are increasingly used in industry, medicine, and environmental science.
