Radioactivity

Radioactivity is the spontaneous emission of radiation from the nucleus of an atom. It is a form of energy that can be measured and is represented by the word "Becquerel" (Bq). Radioactivity has a wide range of applications, from medical diagnosis and treatments, to research and industrial production, to power generation and waste management. It is also used in archaeology to study geological formations, and in the food industry to detect contamination. Radioactivity is a critical tool for our understanding of the universe and is essential for progress in science, technology, and human health.
