Radiation Physics

Radiation physics is the study of the behavior and properties of particles and waves of radiation, such as photons, electrons, protons and neutrons. It is used in a wide range of fields from medicine to research. For example, medical radiation physics deals with the use of radiation for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, while nuclear physics studies the nuclear reactions that are involved in the production of energy, and astrophysics deals with the origin and behavior of stars, galaxies and other celestial objects. In addition, radiation physics helps us to understand the connection between matter and energy and gives insight into the behavior of atoms and subatomic particles. The applications of radiation physics extend far beyond the study of light and matter, and it has a significant role in many important fields such as biomedicine, nuclear engineering, space science and nanotechnology.
