Radiation Neuron

avigation Radiation neuronavigation (or guidance) is an important tool used in radiotherapy that allows for precise and accurate radiation delivery to a target region. It is based on a combination of imaging techniques, including computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and positron emission tomography (PET) scans along with computer-based navigation software. This navigation tool enables radiation oncologists to precisely map out and deliver radiation to the target site and surrounding anatomy, resulting in superior dose conformality and sparing of healthy tissue. Radiation neuronavigation is used to treat a variety of cancers, including brain tumors, prostate cancer, breast cancer, and lung cancer. In addition, its use has been associated with reduced side effects, improved treatment results, and improved patient satisfaction.
