Neuro-Radiology

Neuro-radiology is an emerging form of imaging technique used to diagnose and monitor a wide variety of neurological disorders. The technique uses advanced imaging technologies such as MRI scans, CT scans, and PET scans to provide detailed images of the brain in order to aid in the evaluation and treatment of neurological diseases. Neuro-radiology has become increasingly important due to its role in the diagnosis and monitoring of conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, dementia, epilepsy, and brain tumors. Neuro-radiology has also been used in the study of neurological processes such as memory, language, and sensory-motor control. Neuro-radiology has the potential to improve the quality of life of those suffering from neurological disorders and to increase our understanding of the complex workings of the brain.
