Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain
Chronic musculoskeletal pain is a type of long-term, recurring pain that affects the muscles, ligaments, tendons, nerves, and bones. It can lead to significant limitations in mobility, everyday activities, and quality of life. Chronic musculoskeletal pain can be caused by diseases such as arthritis, osteoporosis, or trauma, among others. Treatment options include physical therapy, medications, lifestyle changes, or surgery. Regular exercise and maintaining a healthy weight may reduce the severity and recurrence of the symptoms.
