Magnetoencephalography (MEG)
Magnetoencephalography (MEG) is a non-invasive imaging technique used to measure and monitor the magnetic fields associated with neuronal activity in the brain. It is used to map neurological activity, such as epilepsy and dementia, and to investigate sensory and motor functions. MEG has been shown to be a very sensitive and accurate technique for detecting subtle differences in brain function, and as such is a valuable tool for understanding the neurological basis of a wide range of medical conditions. It has also been used to pinpoint areas of the brain associated with language, memory, and emotion processing. By providing an insight into the functioning of the brain at a level of detail not possible with other imaging techniques, MEG offers great potential for further clinical applications in the study of neurological disorders.
