Galvanic Skin Response
Galvanic skin response (GSR) is a technique used to measure the activity of the sweat glands in the skin over time. It is used by researchers to measure emotional arousal, detect stress, and uncover any underlying physical and mental health problems. GSR can also be used to monitor the effects of drugs, evaluate physiological responses to psychological stimuli, and diagnose psychosomatic disorders. This technique is important for providing reliable and valid psychophysiological data for research and potential clinical applications.
