Sexual Disorders
Sexual disorders (also known as sexual dysfunctions) are conditions that lead to persistent difficulties in achieving satisfaction during sexual activities. Such difficulties can either be inhibited arousal, inadequate lubrication, inability to achieve an orgasm, or pain during or after intercourse. Sexual disorders affect both men and women and can have a range of physical and psychological causes. They can interfere with overall wellbeing and quality of life, and can lead to distress and relationship difficulties. Treatments may include medication, psychotherapy, behavioural therapy, and lifestyle changes. It is important to note that sexual disorders are a very common condition, and they should not be something to be ashamed of. Seeking help from a qualified medical professional is recommended in order to ensure a successful recovery.
