Group Therapy
Group therapy is a type of psychotherapy that involves one or more therapists working with a small group of people (usually six to 15) who are dealing with similar issues. Participants provide each other support and feedback, often exploring their feelings and relationships in the group setting. Group therapy can be an effective treatment for a variety of emotional and psychological issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and trauma. It enables the participants to provide feedback to each other and gain emotional support, insights, and skills. Group therapy is often used in conjunction with other types of therapy, such as individual psychotherapy or medication. Studies have found group therapy to be an effective, low-cost treatment option for many people.
