Family Therapy
Family therapy is a type of psychotherapy which involves multiple family members, typically those living together. It is used to help family members identify, discuss and address problematic family dynamics, and to understand and resolve their issues. The aim of family therapy is to help families improve communication, strengthen relationships, understand each other better and develop problem-solving skills to cope with daily challenges. Family therapy can be beneficial for individuals as well as for the family unit, as it can help individuals develop a better understanding of their own interpersonal behaviours, relationships and issues. In addition, it can help families to promote healthier functioning, increase psychological well-being, and build more effective relationships, leading to a happier, healthier family life.
